Joe Russo’s Almost Dead Announces Brooklyn Bowl Residency

Just under four years ago Grateful Dead tribute act Joe Russo’s Almost Dead made their debut at Brooklyn Bowl in New York City. This March, the five-piece will return to the venue where it all started for the group to play a total of six concerts including what will be JRAD’s 100th show.

The usual lineup for Joe Russo’s Almost Dead features drummer Joe Russo, guitarists Scott Metzger and Tom Hamilton, keyboardist Marco Benevento and bassist Dave Dreiwitz. Brooklyn Bowl will host the usual lineup on March 9 – 11. The next weekend Dead & Company bassist Oteil Burbridge will sub for Dreiwitz, when Almost Dead returns to Brooklyn Bowl March 16 – 18.

A band Facebook pre-sale will take place on Wednesday, January 4 at 2 p.m. ET. Head to JRAD’s Facebook page around that time for the password. Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday, January 6 at 10 a.m. ET.
