Dawes :: 7.13.16 :: The Capitol Theatre :: Port Chester, NY
Last night Dawes brought their tour to The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York. The evening started with replacement openers Ian O’Neil, Chris Ryan and Dennis Ryan – three-fifths of the band Deer Tick – ably filling in. All this month Dawes is attempting to play each of their recorded songs, from their earliest album to last year’s ‘All Your Favorite Bands.’ Last night’s show didn’t include any new break outs but did see selections from each of the band’s four albums including “Take Me Out of the City” from their debut ‘North Hills, “How Far We’ve Come” from their sophomore effort ‘Nothing Is Wrong,’ “Bear Witness” from their 2013 third LP ‘Stories Don’t End’ and the show closing title track from their most recent record.
