SINGER/SONGWRITER DANIELLE ATE THE SANDWICH RELEASES NEW ALBUM, LIKE A KING
Danielle Ate The Sandwich
Danielle Anderson, who makes a living writing and performing folk songs as Danielle Ate the Sandwich, today releases her new album, Like a King (June 5, 2012/Youngest Daughter Records). The new music video for the album’s first single – “Faith in a Man” – is posted now on Danielle’s YouTube homepage and is available to view below. Look for Danielle on tour this summer in support of Like a King.
Like A King marks a considerably larger leap from Danielle’s usual solo performance. The album features performances by seven musicians, including Chris Jusell on violin, viola, bells, shakers and typewriter, Jon Powers on drums, Scott McCormick on piano, organ and accordion, Ron Miles (Bill Frisell, Elvis Costello, Ginger Baker) on trumpet, Greg Tanner Harris (the Vibes Quintet, Pete Wernick’s Flexigrass) on vibraphone, John Macy on steel guitar and Dennis Bigelow on bass, concertina and bones.
Danielle Ate the Sandwich is on tour throughout the summer – this time as a trio, with Chris Jusell on violin and Dennis Bigelow on bass. The complete list of currently confirmed Danielle Ate the Sandwich tour dates is below.
