Robbers On High Street are proud to announce the release of their third full-length, Hey There Golden Hair on Sept 13, 2011.
Produced by front-man Ben Trokan with engineer Matt Shane (Flight of the Concords, Rosanne Cash), Hey There Golden Hair is the current line-up's first foray into a proper recording session, drawing little help from the outside, save that of a horn section borrowed from Daptone Records.
The new album will be digitally distributed through the conneXtion and released in association with PledgeMusic. Anyone pre-ordering the full-length or making any pledges will receive a free digital EP, with multiple exclusive items - from autographed limited vinyl to driving around Brooklyn with the band in their van, The Gentleman's Cruiser or even the recording of a cover song of your choice - offered at tiered prices. This EP is only available through PledgeMusic.
Robbers On High Street will hold residency on Mondays in August (save the 15th) at Brooklyn Bowl, followed by the Truck Festival in Catskills, a west coast tour (venues to be announced soon) and an east coast jaunt down to DeLuna Fest in Pensacola, FL in October.
