PREVIOUSLY PRIVATE MUSIC AND ARTS FESTIVAL GOES PUBLIC
The Black Sheep Family Reunion is a three day music and arts festival that will be held in at Tidewater Falls in Tidewater, Oregon this July 29, 30 and 31. For the last eight years it was held as a private event. This year, public ticket sales are available but the attendance will be capped at 1200 people to keep the intimacy of a family reunion.
The diverse musical line-up is featured below. The live music will continue until dawn on both Friday and Saturday nights. Other entertainment includes art installations, workshops, the Black Sheep Circus, jugglers and burlesque, a kid's space, a teen tent with silent rave and much more. There will be a parade and creative participation is encouraged.
The venue, Tidewater Falls, is located in Tidewater, Oregon west of Salem and only 13 miles inland from the beaches of Waldport. It is a forested private valley with perfect acoustics and excellent camping with plenty of shade. The festival has only one stage providing long sets that give the musicians a chance to stretch out and produce unique performances. A variety of crafts and organic food booths will be available on site.
