The Parlor Mob Tour

THE PARLOR MOB Announce Nationwide Tour, Launch Hard Times Campaign

The Parlor Mob
Hot on the heels of their recent Roadrunner Records debut And You Were A Crow, The Parlor Mob will once again take their incendiary live show on the road for a Spring headlining tour that will see the band crossing the country from coast to coast and back again. The band is set to kick off the tour on April 9 in Boston, MA and wrap in Allentown, PA on May 7.

2008 was a whirlwind year for the Jersey quintet. The band was named iTunes Best New Artist of 2008 in the rock genre, and since last year's Lollapalooza performance, The Parlor Mob has steadily been growing their already significant fan base, which doesn't appear to be slowing down anytime soon. Continuing on that success, early 2009 has already been packed full of sold out tour dates, both stateside and across the ocean in the UK, heavy acclaim from media overseas and the release of the band's first single and video for their heavy hitting and extremely relevant tune, "Hard Times."

"Hard Times" is a prophetic political take on the state affairs. The tune is more swagger than self-pity, and its universality is undeniable. Rarely has a generation's problems been put so succinctly, and so head-noddingly, into song. It seems only fitting that the band who have been so vocal in their music would also want their fans to have a voice, which is why they just launched the "Hard Times" campaign, which encourages their fans to reach out to the president, senators and congressmen with the problems and struggles they are facing and of course to offer up solutions. They are challenging their fans to be heard and make a difference. For more information on the Hard Times campaign click here.
