Those of us in FL ain't complaining. The HOB is a tiny venue, should be a hoot.

If Raleigh happens at all, and the rumor is it may very well not, then it would have to be April 24-26 and therefore not 420. They'd never do Raleigh during the week b/c too many of us old timey fans in the southeast have 9-5 jobs now and would raise hell. The boys are obviously trying to branch out for longer shows in one farther-from-their-roots location, and I applaud them for it, but I hope Raleigh hasn't seen the last of its 420 shows. But really guys, HOB in Orlando, just two months after JB and Friends there? That venue sucks (and pretty much so does the whole town). I'm hoping for some Raleigh or Charlotte outdoor love!

raleigh is definitely *NOT* happening at all this spring. first jimmy herring has gigs during that 4/24-26 time frame. second ive heard that they may be paired with the abb for an august show at the creek. third

look at the numbers from both nights combined from last year:

Widespread Panic (April 25-26) -- 14,636

14,636/2= an average of 7,318/night in an 18,000 capacity venue.

I see absolutley nothing wrong with the road warriors cutting it short. Jimmy needs time to play with Trigger Hippy, and they've toured more than any band (that I'm aware of) since the Grateful Dead. I think a little R&R is warrented. I'm catchin them at 10klf fo' sho'. Only 3 hours from my front door heeeeehaaaa!

i gotta put in my input for the wsp summer dates... widespread back at the soo pass ranch for 2 NIGHTs at 10k '09. thats what im talking about.. anyone else see their 2 sets at rothbury last year? (second set opening with 'second skin' + joint + molly = pure bliss)

They shouldnt really call that a "tour"- especially in Panic terms. I pray that summer "tour" is a hell of alot more shows than six!
