The answer to the first question is, 'lots of cheap beer and tasty bratwurst,' and the question to the second answer is, 'who are the mid-19th century political party founded in opposition to the policies of President Andrew Jackson.'

The Dead Trees are also opening a lot of these shows and that band is great. They used to be a Boston band and I saw them a bunch but then they moved to Portland. I'd recommend seeing these shows just for the Dead Trees.

Anyone catch "Milwaukee Famous" on ACL last night?

great stuff. I dug them more than their partners on the show, Franz Ferdinand.

"Milwaukee" is funny, energetic and their songs are catchy.

diggin both the Whigs and these cats.

check 'em out.

Johnnygoff - I agree! I was in Raleigh after WSP and had no idea who I was watching. All I knew was that I needed more music before bedtime, but was too tired to rage with my friends, and Milwaukee brought a lot of energy and excitement after such a great WSP show. I can't wait to check them out live at Roo.
