On Tuesday night, bassist Chuck Jones celebrated his 27th birthday as Dopapod performed under the name BOOB at Garcia’s in Port Chester, NY. The band was joined by a number of friends including Consider the Source, Shwizz, Mikey Carubba of Turkuaz, Todd Stoops of Kung Fu/RAQ, Scott Hannay of Mister F, Wiley Griffin & Alfred Rylands of MUN and others. The band jammed all night long as guests took turns sitting in or taking over the stage and performing a few on their own. Consider the Source covered Chuck’s favorite song “I Want To Break Free” by Queen to end the first set. Dopapod closed out the evening with a cover of “You Oughta Know” by Alanis Morissette around 2 a.m.
