Arcade Fire Cover Stevie Wonder In Detroit

Arcade Fire continued their Reflektor tour near Detroit on Monday night, where they once again paid tribute to a local hero. Following Saturday’s performance of Prince’s “Controversy”, the band played part of Stevie Wonder’s “Uptight (Everything’s Alright)” in The Motor City suburb of Auburn Hills.

After their lengthy main set, “The Reflektors” took a small stage in the venue as “Superstition” played over the PA. Arcade Fire then took control on the main stage and launched into “Uptight (Everything’s Alright).” Eventually, Win Butler and Co. segued the tune into their own “Here Comes The Night Time.” Butler once again sported a TV screen as a helmet that flashed images including one of former Detroit mayor Kwame Kilpatrick.
