Arcade Fire Covers Prince In Minneapolis

Arcade Fire’s Reflektor Tour came to Minneapolis last night, where the group honored a local legend. Following an 18-song main set, Arcade Fire kicked off their encore with a cover of Prince’s “Controversy.”

Win Butler and Richard Reed Parry handled vocals on “Controversy.” Butler sported a screen on his head that displayed images of Prince and local politician Michele Bachmann. Last night’s show was broadcast on public radio, so the good people of @ArcadeFireTube were able to capture a recording of the cover. Let’s check it out:
