Back in 2008, the Swedish sister duo of Johanna and Klara Söderberg, who perform and record as the First Aid Kit, became indie-rock viral video
sensations, after posting a clip of themselves performing an enchanting acoustic version of the Fleet Foxes’ “Tiger Mountain Peasant Song”. The video,
which
has been viewed a staggering 3.7 million-plus times, helped to land the Söderberg’s a recording contract and kick-
start
their career. Well fast-forward some five years later, the pair has become critic’s darlings, thanks in part to their
2012
sophomore effort The Lion’s Roar, a fantastic collection of dreamy country-infused, psych-folk tunes.
Back on Christmas Day, the ladies of First Aid Kit took their Facebook page offering a up a Christmas gift to their
fans
by posting a cover of Willie Nelson’s "On The Road Again" as a nod to the fact that they would be back to playing live
gigs
in 2014. The track, which first appeared on the soundtrack to the movie Honeysuckle Rose, became Nelson’s sixth
number one hit on the country charts, and one of his signature songs. For their take on the classic tune the duo
don’t
stray too far from the original keeping the songs chugging highway driving vibe, while adding some harpsichord over
