The Last Waltz Revisited Part III

The Last Waltz Revisited Part III
11/21/07 | Cervantes' Masterpiece Ballroom | Denver, CO

Polytoxic
The Last Waltz Revisited Part III will be showcasing members of Polytoxic together with 30+ musicians from across Colorado, in a show that has become an annual tradition bringing the community together to kick off the holiday season. The musicians will be performing the music of The Band and recreating their historical performance, The Last Waltz.

In conjunction with this annual musical spectacular, the event will reach outside the musical family this year, to give back to the community. This event will be the first ever Official Holiday Canned Food Drive benefiting The Denver Rescue Mission. Any ticket purchaser donating a canned food item at time of ticket purchase will receive a $2.00 discount off the ticket price. The hope is that you will participate in this event and contribute to its worthy cause.

The food drive will be held from Monday, October 29, 2007 to Wednesday, November 21, 2007. Donation boxes will be located at Quixote's True Blue and Cervantes' Masterpiece.

You are invited to share this special night with all of the musicians and be a part of their family as they try to collect as many cans of food as possible for The Denver Rescue Mission, to assist needy families during this Holiday Season. So as some great people once said "Welcome My Friends To The Show That Never Ends... Step Inside!"

Polytoxic will also be holding a food drive at their show on Friday November 17 at Quixote's True Blue in Denver, CO (ticket price $10).

"Welcome My Friends To The Show That Never Ends... Step Inside!"

ELP, not The Band. Sounds like fun though.

imagine that, some people getting together to cover the music of the greatest band ever (in my not so humble opinion). the beatles were a good pop band and i loves me some rolling stones. led zeppelin was very clearly the best rock band ever. but the best BAND? the band! duh!

thanx for reporting on this jambase....
