Jerry Joseph
BOISE, ID (May 2007) - On Sunday (5/27) and Monday (5/28) nights of the upcoming Memorial Day weekend, a superb lineup of musicians are coming together at Neurolux for two benefit shows at the Neurolux advocating peace. All proceeds will benefit the Peaceful Belly Farms. DJ Logic, Eric McFadden Trio and Jerry Joseph & Friends are returning to Boise for another run of benefit shows following sold-out stellar performances last February, during a fund-raiser for Wally Ingram and his fight against cancer. Also on the bill for this special booking are Kamphire Collective (on the heels of a packed house record release party at The Big Easy), Ryan Peck, and Craters of the Moon featuring members of Dirt Fisherman.

Peaceful Belly, named during Josie Erskine's pregnancy as the U.S. commenced its invasion of Afghanistan in 2001 after September 11, is an urban certified organic farm that produces food for a Boise CSA. They welcome the help of an occasional intern or volunteer, but their product is largely the fruit of the Erskines' labor, and may also be purchased at the Capital City Market, the Boise Consumer Coop, and Dave Krick's and Andrae Bopp's Just Eat Local, Inc. restaurant group. Peaceful Belly, through the practices of cover crops, crop rotation, water-conserving irrigation, seed saving, composting, mulching, and raised beds, are building fertility in their soil and raising healthy veggies.

Peaceful Belly has donated a $50 gift certificate to be given to a lucky winner at the shows. Sowing the Seeds of Love:
