About Marvel Years
Having recently made a surprise guest appearance performing at a sold-out Pretty Lights Red Rocks show in Denver, CO – Marvel Years (a.k.a. Cory Wythe) the up-and-coming producer out of Burlington, Vermont, is making waves within the electro-soul hip-hop scene. Gaining wide noteriety throughout EDM blogs and social media, Marvel Years is more than just a DJ/producer. He is a genius on guitar and shreds well beyond what you would expect from a guitarist his age. His blend of electronic beats and shredding soulful guitar on his original tunes and remixes creates a sound that is a unique hybrid of EDM combing glitch, retro-funk, soul, jazz and hip-hop. Often compared to Pretty Lights and GriZ, Marvel Years has smooth funky sounding music on lock, and his releases are primed and ready for you to forget your troubles and enter into a happier state of mind that are impossible not to love.
Marvel Years is working on future releases and will be dropping a number of singles and collaborations throughout the fall of 2013.
Marvel Years’ sophomore EP appropriately titled Nowhere But Up was released on April 9th through Gravitas Recordings with great success. It is available for free download, as is all Marvel Years music.
A kid with a dream, Marvel Years has the talent and the drive as he becomes a household name. Keep your eye on this fresh artist who is making big moves…. And become marveled yourself.
