As lead guitarist with several well-known cutting edge groups including Digital Tape Machine, North American Scum, Stratosphere All-Stars, and The Hue, Marcus carves out a unique niche in the world of Guitar. He has performed at major music festivals across the globe in various genres including all forms of EDM, Rock n Roll, Soul, Funk, and Jazz . His current band Digital Tape Machine tours behind their debut LP, Be Here Now now available on iTunes as well as their critically acclaimed 2014 EP Omens. The Hue, Marcus original progressive rock band released 2 albums entitled, Unscene, and Beyond Words and peaked at a performance with the Aristocrats. Marcus has performed with members of The Aristocrats, Mike Keneally, Chris Poland, Jake Cinninger, Project Object, Umphreys Mcgee, Lettuce, Eoto, SCI, Garaj Mahal and many others. In addition to live performance, Marcus focuses heavily on remote and live studio guitar tracking, editing, and mixing sessions working with a variety of artists, composers, and producers including grammy-winning songwriter Jeff Franzel and producer John Ovnik, and more. Marcus Rezak has a B.M. from Berklee College of Music in Boston, and a M.M. degree in Jazz Composition from DePaul University in Chicago, IL.
