Yonder Mountain String Band shared a new single, “The Truth Fits.” The track is set to land on YMSB’s forthcoming album, Nowhere Next, due out on November 8 via Thirty Tigers.

Yonder announced Nowhere Next in early September and shared the lead single, “Here I Go,” featuring dobro ace Jerry Douglas, who appears on two additional tracks on the record. Nowhere Next also sees contributions from new Yonder fiddler Coleman Smith.

Founding YMSB members guitarist Adam Aijala, banjo player Dave Johnston and bassist Ben Kaufmann co-wrote 10 of the 11 tracks on Nowhere Next with multi-instrumentalist Nick Piccininni. Nick plays mandolin, banjo, fiddle and sings on “The Truth Fits.”

“‘The Truth Fits’ is an expression of the empowerment that comes from building the life that you desire rather than the one you have been conditioned to live,” Piccininni said of his Nowhere Next contribution.
