Yonder Mountain String Band shared pro-shot video of “Rag Doll” featuring trumpeter Jennifer Hartswick and more. The performance comes from YSMB’s July 24 set at the final Northwest String Summit at Horning’s Hideout in North Plains, Oregon.

Following another guest-filled performance on July 23, NWSS 2022 host band YMSB — guitarist Adam Aijala, banjoist Dave Johnston, bassist Ben Kaufmann, multi-instrumentalist Nick Piccininni and fiddler Allie Kral (who recently announced her departure from the band) — welcomed drummer Jay Elliott, keyboardist Asher Fulero and Buffalo Commons vocalist Tyree Woods for a performance of “Rag Doll” penned by late YMSB co-founder and mandolinist Jeff Austin.

A favorite existing in Yonder’s live repertoire for a few years before, “Rag Doll” later appeared on the band’s YMSB EP ’13. Yonder released the record less than a year before Austin parted ways with the band in 2014. Watch Yonder Mountain String Band and guests perform “Rag Doll” below:
