Wonderfront Music & Arts Festival is bringing 95+ diverse artists and 7+ stages to downtown San Diego on November 22-24. Wonderfront will integrate one of America’s most vibrant downtowns into the festival with yacht parties, water sports, art installations, a craft beer village and food from local favorites. Wonderfront offers festival-goers a customizable experience, with hotels, shops and restaurants that are walking distance from the venue and a festival in/out policy that lets you come and go as you please. In its inaugural year, Wonderfront will synthesize the city and the sea in a way that no music festival has ever done before.

This festival is expected to bring a broad diversity of music genres with rock, indie rock, hip hop, EDM, rap, reggae, Americana, and more. The inclusion of Latin stages, with a full lineup of top Latin artists highlights the festival’s goal of community inclusion to help make the Wonderfront Festival a city-wide celebration.

Confirmed artists include Slightly Stoopid, Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, MGMT, STS9, Big Gigantic, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Thievery Corporation, Ghost Light, Moon Taxi, Andy Frasco & The U.N., SunSquabi, Hippo Campus, Parquet Courts and many others.

Sunday’s lineup will also feature Guitar Legends 3 bringing together some of the best guitarists on the planet and an All-Star Band to the Wonderfront stage. Presented by America Salutes You, the broadcasted concert event will be filmed live and air as a holiday special to raise funds for veterans and first responders charities.

“Our goal with this lineup was to have it stacked from start to finish each day with great artists,” Wonderfront co-founder Paul Thornton stated. “It’s hard to really call any certain bands our so-called headliners as so many lines of bands on this festival are all headliners in their own right. We’ve had a tough time choosing between so many talented artists across the many genres into the finite number of stage slots available. We also wanted a great mix of artists across the time slots, so that not all the bigger names were just playing at the same later times. We really appreciate the artists that have worked with us to make that possible.”

In the early-2000s, professional skateboarder Tony Hawk organized the Boom Boom HuckJam Tour that was the biggest, high-flying spectacle in action sports, traveling the country and playing the biggest arenas in the land. Now, Tony is bringing back the HuckJam ramp to Wonderfront with bands like Pennywise, Suicidal Tendencies, X, The Vandals, DJ Z-Trip and a crew of some of the best professional vert skaters and BMX bikers in the world, including: Tony Hawk himself, Andy MacDonald, Bucky Lasek, Lizzie Armanto, Kevin Staab, Elliot Sloan, Lincoln Ueda, Simon Tabron, Jimmy Wilkins, Paul Luc Ronchetti, Evan Doherty, Marcello Bastos, and Jordyn Barret.

“I’m excited to bring back the Huckjam format (choreographed and freestyle skating with live music) after 10 years of hiatus, and there is no better place for it than my hometown,” Hawk, who is a Wonderfront partner, stated. “I’m proud to be involved with Wonderfront, and it’s been a blast helping handpick the legendary punk bands for our stage.”
