WinterWonderGrass Tahoe Announces 2019 Lineup

The fifth annual installment of WinterWonderGrass Tahoe will be held at Squaw Valley Ski Resort in Squaw Valley, California on March 29 – 31, 2019. Organizers have announced the WinterWonderGrass Tahoe 2019 lineup.

Greensky Bluegrass, Trampled By Turtles, Leftover Salmon and the Sam Bush Band have been tapped to headline. ALO, Fruition, Billy Strings, The Travelin’ McCourys, Horseshoes & Hand Grenades, Dead Winter Carpenters, Jeff Austin Band, Lindsay Lou, Upstate, Driftwood, Pickin’ On The Dead and Pixie & The Partygrass Boys are also aboard for WWG Tahoe ’18. Vince & Silas Herman, One Grass Two Grass, Bridget Law & Friends, Jenni & Jesse Dunn with Local Company and the Jack Cloonan Band round out the lineup. Andy Thorn and Tyler Grant will serve as Artists At Large.

The performances will be spread across three heated indoor stages and one outdoor main stage. “From the moment we arrived in Tahoe, we felt the magnetism of this special piece of earth. The alchemy was abundantly clear in the way that bluegrass, the High Sierra, Lake Tahoe, spirited locals and an amphitheater of trees would create magic,” said festival founder Scotty Stoughton in a statement. “It’s an absolute honor to celebrate 5 years in Squaw Valley and we look forward to turning it up just a notch in honor of this special gathering.” California local brews, ciders and eats will be available. Tickets are on sale now here with organizers “committed to aligning with communities, artists and partners who share the focused commitment to sustainability, philanthropic endeavors and the roots of mountain culture.” Other WinterWonderGrass installments will take place in Vermont on December 14 – 16 and Colorado on February 22 – 24, 2019.
