Wilco KEXP Seattle Acoustic Session

Last week Wilco visited the Columbia Theater in Seattle to record a stripped-down session for KEXP the day prior to their show at Marymoor Park in nearby Redmond on August 11. The acoustic matinee performance was part of the independent radio station’s drive to fund KEXP’s New Home at Seattle Center and you can now watch official footage of the entire intimate performance. After airing audio of the benefit concert yesterday afternoon, KEXP shared video of the 55-minute all-acoustic set. The band played both “Random Name Generator” and “The Joke Explained” from their recently issued LP Star Wars among a handful of classics and covers.
