Widespread Panic Brings ‘Travelin’ Man’ To Milwaukee

Widespread Panic kicked off their fall run on Friday night with a three-night stand at the Riverside Theater in Milwaukee. The band offered up the first “Travelin’ Man” of 2019 toward the end of the first set.

WSP got things going with “Greta” which led into “Do What You Like.” The first set also included “Blue Indian” and “Rebirtha” followed by “Travelin’ Man” (last time played March 13, 2018) which then led into “Vacation.” Panic closed out the first frame with “Chilly Water.”

According to Panic Stream, the second set somewhat unusually kicked off with “Drums” that itself began with a solo section from percussionist Sonny Ortiz. “Drums” segued into “Pleas” which in turn led into “Weight Of The World.” The second set also included “North,” “Big Woolly Mammoth,” “Up All Night” and closed out with “Pigeons.”

WSP reemerged for an encore of “Expiration Day” and “Sleeping Man.” Check out clips from the show captured by Satisfied Entertainment as well as video of “Do What You Like” via Mike Andler below:
