Widespread Panic shared pro-shot video of the classic “C. Brown.” The footage is from WSP’s Sunday, June 25, 2023 concert at Red Rocks.
A co-write with Jeff Riley, “C. Brown” is one of Panic’s oldest originals — debuted on February 13, 1986 during one of the band’s earliest shows at the Uptown Lounge in Athens, Georgia, as per Everyday Companion. The song later appeared on Widespread Panic’s 1991 self-titled album.

The Red Rocks 2023 “C. Brown” marked the 805th performance of the tune. It fell in the second song slot of the first set on Sunday, June 25.
