Widespread Panic shared a previously unreleased demo of the WSP classic “Love Tractor” featuring Phish keyboardist Page McConnell. The song appears on Panic’s upcoming Miss Kitty’s Lounge release arriving on May 20 via Widespread Records while a limited edition vinyl will also be available in independent record stores.

Widespread Panic announced Missy Kitty’s Lounge in August 2021 and the 1990 John Keane-produced demo record — which landed the band a contract with Capricorn and led to their sophomore self-titled LP — was originally slated for a late 2021 release. Panic released “The Last Straw” in early April along with the new May 20 release date and followed with “Barstools and Dreamers.”

WSP now shares “Love Tractor” featuring the band’s five original members, guitarists John Bell and Michael Houser, drummer Todd Nance, bassist Dave Schools and percussionist Domingo “Sunny” Ortiz, as well as Phish keyboardist Page McConnell. Page adds some well-placed organ throughout the classic Panic tune and Houser scorches on the coda.
