Widespread Panic Picks Charlotte 2008 Concert For ‘Never Miss A Sunday Show’

Widespread Panic continues to dig into their archives for the band’s weekly Never Miss A Sunday Show video series. Official video of the sextet’s July 26, 2008 concert at Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Charlotte premieres this Sunday, November 22 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on the JamBase Livestreams Calendar via nugs.tv.

Panic’s lineup at the time featured guitarists John Bell and Jimmy Herring, bassist Dave Schools, percussionist Domingo “Sunny” Ortiz, keyboardist JoJo Hermann and drummer Todd Nance. This week’s Never Miss A Sunday Show selection closed out the main leg of WSP’s extensive Summer Tour 2008.

The six-piece was joined by speical guest DJ Logic on turntables for portions of the second set. Percussionist Hunter Williams also sat-in. Widespread mixed classics such as “Chilly Water,” “Fishwater” and “Tall Boy” with a handful of rarities including “St. Louis,” “Life During Wartime” and “Superstition.”

Widespread Panic began Never Miss A Sunday Show broadcasts on March 22. The band has yet to miss a week since.
