Widespread Panic shared pro-shot video featuring George Porter Jr. leading the band through The Meters classic “Hey Pocky Way” on Halloween 2019. The clip was filmed on October 31, 2019 at UNO Lakefront Arena in New Orleans.

The Meters bassist joined the sextet for “Chicken Strut” and “Hey Pocky Way” to get Panic's tribute to late comedian and performance artist Andy Kaufman underway. Both songs were WSP debuts. “George Porter matters, always,” exclaimed Panic bassist Dave Schools after “Hey Pocky Way.”

Widespread Panic returns to New Orleans’ UNO Lakefront Arena for a three-night run this weekend. The band typically debuts and busts out a variety of covers on Halloween and this year should be no different.
