Watch Widespread Panic Perform ‘Diner’ At Red Rocks In 2017

Widespread Panic shared official video featuring “Diner” from the second night of their 2017 run at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado on YouTube. “Diner” opened the band’s second set on June 24, 2017.

The sextet debuted “Diner” live on February 7, 1992 at The Post Office in Augusta, Georgia as per Everyday Companion. Widespread Panic went on to release a studio version on their 1993 album, Everyday.

“Diner” is among the most played Widespread Panic songs since its premiere. The band has never gone more than 16 shows between plays over the past 19 years. The 631st and most recent version of “Diner” was performed by WSP at The Beacon Theatre in New York City on March 1, 2020.

2017 was a light year for Widespread Panic, who focused on multi-night runs instead of tours. The band made sure to fit Red Rocks among their stops, as they played the scenic venue from June 23 – 25, 2017.
