Widespread Panic Bluegrass Underground Airdate Announced

Back in March Widespread Panic performed 333-feet underground at the magnificent Volcano Room of Cumberland Caverns near McMinnville, TN as part of the band’s Wood Tour. The show was filmed for an episode of the PBS series Bluegrass Underground and today the band has announced PBS will begin airing the Widespread Panic performance as the Season Four premiere on September 3.

UPDATE 12 p.m. -Widespread Panic has also revealed they filmed a session at Bob Weir’s TRI Studios facility back in April. The footage of the acoustic session will be webcast via TRI on July 22 at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. PT and on July 24 at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. PT.
