Widespread Panic Announces Panic En La Playa Seis

Cloud 9 Adventures and Widespread Panic have announced the latest installment of Panic En La Playa. After three years in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic the band brings the destination concert event back to Mexico for the second year in a row as Panic En La Playa Seis will take place at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya February 27 – March 3, 2017.

Not only will attendees be treated to four full Widespread Panic shows over four nights, guests can witness sunset lagoon shows from Southern Soul Assembly (Anders Osborne, Marc Broussard, Luther Dickinson & JJ Grey) and Bloodkin as well as late night sets from the Playa All-Stars and Orgone. This year’s Playa All-Stars lineup includes George Porter Jr., Ivan Neville, Eric Krasno, Karl Denson, Terence Higgins and Jennifer Hartswick.

Panic En La Playa is an all-inclusive experience which allows fans to stay on site at the tropical resort with all meals, drinks, concerts and activities included in the package. The event also offers a variety of off-site excursion options such as visiting the Mayan ruins in Tulum, zip-lining through the jungle, shopping in Playa del Carmen, in addition to an abundance of other cultural options that will be offered through the event website. A full schedule of artist-hosted activities, workshops, poolside games, a poker tournament, daily yoga and theme nights will be announced soon. Widespread Panic will begin using a limited touring schedule in 2017 which puts more emphasis on events such as PELP.
