Watch Whitney Strip Down ‘Spark’ Gems For Intimate WFUV Session

See acoustic takes on singles from the duo’s new LP.

Whitney offered a trio of songs from their 2022 album, Spark, as part of a live WFUV session. The Chicago-based duo delivered the tunes in a stripped-down format for the New York City public radio station.

Spark arrived via Secretly Canadian on September 16. In a similar fashion to their recent session for Minnesota public radio’s The Current, Whitney’s Julien Ehrlich and Max Kakacek put up a trio of songs off the LP in an acoustic format for their WFUV play.

Captured at the public radio station’s Studio A on August 24, the duo delivered stripped-down renditions of Spark singles “Real Love,” “Blue” and “Twirl.” Watch all three performances below:
