Third Man Records has detailed a number of Record Store Day releases set for the annual event held on April 16. Included in this year’s offerings from Jack White’s Nashville and Detroit-based record label is his former band The White Stripes Peel Sessions double LP.

Recorded by famed BBC DJ John Peel during a pair of live sessions in 2001, the special RSD edition will be issued on one red and one white colored vinyl. A standard black vinyl edition of Peel Sessions is expected to be released later this year.

Also coming from Third Man Records on April 16 will be a limited edition 7-inch vinyl single of Jack White’s cover of Stevie Wonder’s “You Are The Sunshine Of My Life” from his recent appearance on The Muppets television program. Pressed on It’s Not Easy Being Green Colored Vinyl™, the A-side features The Electric Mayhem band and the B-side includes the TV special performance with the rest of the Muppets singing with White.

Third Man Records will also release The B52’s Kate Pierson’s recording of “Venus” b/w “Radio In Bed” as a 7-inch vinyl single as part of the label’s Blue Series. Full details about each release as well as a number of planned RSD events at both the Nashville and Detroit TMR retail locations can be found here.
