Watch The White Stripes Perform ‘Hotel Yorba’ On ‘Later With Jools Holland’ In 2001

The White Stripes made their British television debut on an episode of Later… With Jools Holland that aired on November 9, 2001. Today, the duo consisting of Jack White and Meg White celebrate The White Stripes Greatest Hits release on vinyl and CD in the United Kingdom and Ireland by sharing “Hotel Yorba” from their Jools Holland appearance.

“Hotel Yorba” was the lead single from White Blood Cells, a studio album issued by The White Stripes on July 3, 2001. Jack and Meg also performed a mashup of “Fell In Love With A Girl” and “Let’s Shake Hands” on the same Jools Holland episode. The White Stripes unveiled video of the pairing earlier this month.

Today’s clip continues a string of performance videos shared by The White Stripes over the past six months. “Hotel Yorba” is the latest footage released to honor the duo’s first ever greatest hits compilation.
