White Denim Teams With Spotify For Weather-Triggered Song

Austin rockers White Denim have released a new song titled “No Nee Ta Slode Aln,” but you can only hear it if the weather is bad in your neck of the woods. Pitchfork reports Spotify will provide streams of White Denim’s rain-themed songs only to regions of the U.S. receiving rainfall.
Spotify’s first ever weather-triggered song comes as part of a partnership with The North Face. The streaming company uses geotargeting technology to figure out which U.S. regions it will allow users to stream the song in. Pitchfork also notes a sample of the tune can be heard in the commercial below:
