Ween Announces A Pair Of Shows In San Francisco

Seminal rock band Ween have announced a pair of shows in San Francisco which marks the group’s first performance in the Bay Area in over five years and first in San Francisco proper since 2009. Guitarists Mickey “Dean Ween” Melchiondo and Aaron “Gene Ween” Freeman as well as keyboardist Glenn McClelland, drummer Claude Coleman Jr. and bassist Dave Dreiwitz will play San Francisco’s Bill Graham Civic Auditorium on October 14 and 15.
An online ticket request period is currently underway via the band’s ticketing site. The ticket request period for the lottery will end Wednesday, May 18 at 5:00 p.m. ET. CID Entertainment has gone live with VIP packages for the run. Tickets for Ween’s upcoming visit to San Francisco go on sale to the general public this Friday, May 20 at 10 a.m. PT.

The five-piece has also played the inaugural Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival as well as three nights at Terminal 5 in New York. Upcoming gigs include appearances at Bonnaroo, Lockn’ and Project Pabst Portland in addition to a headlining show in Philadelphia.
