The Weather Station — the project of Toronto-based Tamara Lindeman — performed live in the KEXP studios on May 14 ahead of their concert at Seattle’s The Crocodile. Lindeman and company played four songs from their 2025 album, Humanhood, for a session posted today on the independent radio station’s YouTube channel.

Co-produced by Lindeman and Marcus Paquin, Humanhood arrived on January 17 through Fat Possum. The 13-track follow-up to 2022’s How Is It That I Should Look At The Stars saw Tamara Lindeman joined by drummer Kieran Adams, percussionist Philippe Melanson, bassist Ben Whitley and multi-instrumentalists Karen Ng and Ben Boye. Ng, Boye and Whitley accompanied Lindeman at KEXP along with drummer Dom Billet.

The Weather Station began their Live On KEXP session with the propulsive “Mirror.” Lindeman then led the ensemble through the synth-laden “Neon Signs.” Next came the atmospheric “Body Moves” and haunting “Sewing” to close the performance before host Cheryl Waters spoke with Lindeman about Humanhood.
