Watch Nels Cline Of Wilco Guest With Los Lobos At Sound Summit

The 2016 installment of Sound Summit was held at the historic Mountain Theater, a 4000-seat stone amphitheater set high atop Mount Tamalpais in California’s Bay Area this past Saturday, September 17. As reported, Wilco welcomed a number of guests for their set including Bob Weir, but the headliners weren’t the only Sound Summit ’16 act to collaborate with other musicians.

East Los Angeles rock band Los Lobos took the Mountain Theater stage ahead of Wilco and welcomed the Chicago-based group’s lead guitarist for a spirited solo. Nels Cline emerged during Los Lobos’s rendition of “Más Y Más” to show off his chops. Watch video of the sit-in captured by Rick Coven:
