Watch The Neil Young & Promise Of The Real Debut Of ‘Like A Hurricane’
By Scott Bernstein Jun 20, 2016 • 11:31 am PDT
While famed rocker Neil Young has dug deep into his extensive back catalog over the course of the first three legs of ‘s Rebel Content Tour, there was one classic which surprisingly had gone missing. Neil Young & POTR rectified that wrong on Saturday night at the Mad Cool Festival in Spain when they offered the group’s debut of “Like A Hurricane.”
Just as he usually did with Crazy Horse, Young extended “Like A Hurricane” in a big way as the jammed-out American Stars’n Bars gem approached 14 minutes in total. Neil shows off his fierce guitar work over the course of lengthy “Like A Hurricane” which hopefully will now become a regular addition to Neil & POTR’s setlists. The guitarist’s last live version of “Like A Hurricane” before Saturday’s show took place nearly two years ago with Crazy Horse on August 8, 2014 in Colmar, France.
