Gypsy punk pioneers Gogol Bordello stopped by the studios of Seattle-based independent radio station in March whille on the road for their We Mean It, Man! Tour 2026. The five-song set consisted solely of songs from the 2026 album that gave the tour its name.
We Mean It, Man! was released in February through frontman Eugene Hütz’s Gogol Records. The 12-track follow-up to 2022’s Solidaritine was produced by Nick Launay and Adam “Atom” Greenspan.
Eugene Hütz and bandmates Sergey Ryabtsev (vocals, violin), Pedrito Erazo (vocals, percussion), Leo Mintek (vocals, guitar), Erica Mancini (vocals, accordion, synth), Gill Alexandre (vocals, bass) and Korey Kingston (drums) loaded into KEXP’s facility on March 4, 2026.
The group delivered potent performances of We Mean It, Man tracks “Ignition,” “Life Is Possible Again,” “We Mean It, Man” and “Mystics” for the KEXP audience. Gogol Bordello tacked on “No Time For Idiots” for good measure.
