Watch Free Tedeschi Trucks Webcast Live From Studio X

On Friday, the Tedeschi Trucks Band play the first of two sold-out shows at the famed Chicago Theatre in Chicago. On Saturday, the band will visit radio station WXRT’s Studio X ahead of the second show at the Chicago Theatre. XRT will provide a free stream of the intimate performance starting at 3:30 p.m. CT on Saturday via 93xrt.com or below:

The band is currently in the midst of a run of January dates that has seen them unveil some new covers. We’ve already reported on the version of “It Ain’t Easy” the TTB have started performing in honor of David Bowie, but the group has also worked a new Sly And The Family Stone cover into the mix. Derek Trucks, Susan Tedeschi & Co. debuted a take on “I Cannot Make It” off Sly’s 1967 studio album A Whole New Thing on Sunday night in Boca Raton and have played it a handful of times since.
