Warren Haynes Guests With The Ron Holloway Band In D.C.

Shortly after wrapping up his show with Gov’t Mule at the Warner Theatre in Washington, D.C., Warren Haynes made his way around the block for a guest appearance with The Ron Holloway Band, who were playing a free official after-party at The Hamilton Loft Bar.

Holloway, who sat in with Mule earlier in the night, welcomed Haynes for a trio of songs during his band’s late-night set. The Gov’t Mule frontman added guitar and vocals to a soulful 16+ minute take on Neil Young & Crazy Horse’s “Down By The River.” Haynes also contributed some fiery guitar work on Jimi Hendrix’s “Voodoo Child” and to the Ron Holloway Band original “Baby Love.”
