Nominated for the Grammy Award for Best New Artist earlier this year, The War And Treaty made their ACL debut in 2020, performing before a pandemic-restricted audience at The Moody Theater in Austin, Texas. The Nashville-based duo made up of Tanya Trotter and Michael Trotter Jr. marked their return to ACL with the inclusion of their “country gospel” song “Blank Page.”
“Blank Page” appeared on The War And Treaty’s 2023 Dave Cobb-produced album, Lover’s Game. The song was co-written by the Trotters and earned a Grammy Award nomination for Best American Roots Song.
