The War On Drugs will issue their latest studio album, A Deeper Understanding, via Atlantic Records on August 25. Frontman Adam Granduciel & Co. have recently released the LP’s latest single, “Strangest Thing.”
“Strangest Thing” is one of 10 tracks that will be featured on A Deeper Understanding. The War On Drugs had previously shared “Thinking Of A Place” and “Holding On.” Spanning nearly seven minutes, “Strangest Thing” ends with the group building one anthemic riff to an emotional peak. The Philadelphia-based band kicks off an extensive tour in Portland, Maine on September 18.
