Vulfpeck Announces ‘The Schvitz Experience’ Residency In Brooklyn

Vulfpeck will perform two shows each day at Brooklyn’s The Great Hall at Avant Gardner from Thursday, November 9 through Sunday, November 12. The residency, dubbed “The Schvitz Experience,” will feature matinee concerts with 7 p.m. start times followed by shows that get underway at 10:30 p.m.

“The Schvitz Experience” takes its name from Vulfpeck’s sixth and latest studio album, Schvitz. Released last December, the 10-track collection arrived six months after the band played the 2022 Levitate Music & Arts Festival dressed for a schvitz, a Yiddish bath.

An announcement of the residency came with word, “these are vulfpeck’s only club shows in 2023.” Vulfpeck will appear at the Summer Camp festival later this month and at Bonnaroo in June.

Vulfpeck members bassist Joe Dart and guitarist Cory Wong recently appeared on The JamBase Podcast. Dart mentioned new shows were in the works but that the band would “do it in our weird and Vulf-y way.”
