Though Vulfpeck hasn’t performed live much in 2017 yet, the Michigan funk act will soon kick off a Spring Tour. Vulfpeck also continues to share videos through both their YouTube channel and Facebook page on a regular basis. Clips have been posted to each in the past 24 hours.
The latest video from Vulfpeck’s YouTube channel features the slow and sultry “Newsbeat” from the group’s 2014 album Fugue State. Jack Stratton, Theo Katzman, Woody Goss and Joe Dart set up camp in a living room to record the footage included in the clip, watch:
Meanwhile, Vulfpeck’s Facebook page was updated with a video showing four separate clips of Stratton on drums lined up together to find Jack performing legendary drummer Bernard Purdie’s trademark Purdie Shuffle. The video is accompanied by the caption, “it takes 4 of me 2 be 1 Bernard Purdie.” Bernard sat-in with Vulfpeck at series of shows last September.
