Video | U2 Cover Band Joins U2 In Toronto

Last night U2’s iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE Tour stopped at Air Canada Centre in Toronto for the first of two concerts. During the show Bono and crew welcomed local U2 cover band Acrobat on stage to join a performance of “Desire.”




Midway through the set Acrobat emerged, joined by Bono and The Edge, to play the song from U2’s 1988 album, Rattle and Hum. Watch footage of the sit-in captured by YouTube user Michel Quesnel:




In other U2 news, the band shared a preview of their upcoming short film, Song For Someone, featuring actor Woody Harrleson. The full film directed by Vincent Haycock and also featuring Harrelson’s daughter Zoe Harrelson will premiere on Thursday, July 9 on SundanceTV. Watch the preview below:
