Last Thursday night pedal steel wiz Roosevelt Collier teamed with guitarist Eddie Roberts (The New Mastersounds), bassist Reed Mathis (Tea Leaf Green), drummer John Staten (Pimps of Joytime), trumpeter and vocalist Jennifer Hartswick (Trey Anastasio) and trombonist and vocalist Natalie Cressman for a Super Jam at the Asheville Music Hall in Asheville, NC. We’ve been waiting for footage from the performance to surface and we weren’t disappointed.

Thanks to Barry2theB we can watch the outstanding, 22-minute take on The Temptations’s “Papa Was A Rolling Stone” the musicians laid down last week in Asheville. Nearly each musician on stage takes a solo and does the tune justice. Take a look:
