Vampire Weekend Coming To Madison Square Garden In September

Last week Vampire Weekend shared the first taste of their highly-anticipated album Father Of The Bride with two brand new songs. Yesterday the band’s frontman Erza Koenig took in a New York Knicks game at Madison Square Garden. Shortly after showing him on the arena’s jumbotron it was revealed that the New York City-born band would be headlining MSG for the first time on September 6.

Outside of an appearance at Governor’s Ball in 2014, the band’s last proper headlining show took place at the Barclays Center in September of 2013. Ticketing details for Vampire Weekend’s Madison Square Garden show are still forthcoming.
