Watch Valerie June Cover Mazzy Star’s ‘Fade Into You’
See the singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist put her own stamp on the 1993 hit.

Out today from Valerie June is a beautiful cover of Mazzy Star’s “Fade Into You.” The new track came complete with a live performance video.
Initially released on Mazzy Star’s sophomore studio album, So Tonight That I Might See, “Fade Into You” has been covered by a diverse array of musicians including J Mascis, American Football, Ben Harper, Miley Cyrus and Iron & Wine. June channels Mazzy Star frontwoman Hope Sandoval’s vocals while leaving her own stamp on the song.
Valerie June is currently finishing an extensive tour in support of her Grammy-nominated 2021 album, The Moon & Stars: Prescriptions For Dreamers. The Memphis-born, Brooklyn-based singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist released the new original song “Use Me” back in March.
