For 26 years JamBase has been the go-to destination for live music fans. As we continue to evolve with technological advancements, we’re excited to announce the launch of our 2024 Annual Fan Survey. This survey is a crucial part of our commitment to delivering the best possible experience for music lovers everywhere.
Last year’s survey was a resounding success, with over 4,000 respondents providing invaluable insights. We discovered that more than 90% of our users’ leisure travel involves seeing live music at least 1-2 times a year. Additionally, an impressive 72% of respondents identified as “Superfans” of their favorite artists – significantly higher than the general population’s 15%, according to Luminate.
Building on these insights, this year’s survey consists of 34 questions and should take about 10 minutes to complete. We’re delving deeper into our understanding of JamBase users and live music fans’ demographics surrounding live music attendance, spending, discovery, and planning habits as well as content consumption and notification preferences.

The JamBase Fan Survey takes approximately 10 minutes to complete and inquires about user live music spending, planning, and travel habits, as well as the content they seek before and after going to a concert or festival. Other topics include things like activities outside of going to concerts, music consumption habits and other interests and hobbies.
The survey also asks users to rate how valuable they find current and potential JamBase features so we can focus our energy on building preferred features. The survey is live now and will remain open for 10 days. Responses will directly influence the future of JamBase and help us enhance the live music discovery experience for fans everywhere.
