Unknown Mortal Orchestra To Cover Grateful Dead On ‘Conan’

Unknown Mortal Orchestra was one of many acts that contributed to the recently released Grateful Dead tribute compilation Day Of The Dead. Tonight, UMO will be the musical guest on TBS late night talk show Conan and will perform the Dead cover they contributed to Day Of The Dead – “Shakedown Street.”

This evening’s performance from UMO comes after The National tackled “Morning Dew” on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert and Courtney Barnett trotted out “New Speedway Boogie” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
